What is Penetration Testing?
A penetration test, sometimes called a pen test, refers to an authorized simulated attack of a computer or computer systems to test security measures. Penetration testing may be required by one or more organizations you do business with as a measure of safety and security. Penetration testings and the reports the testing generates helps you to be aware of risks, vulnerabilities, and existing security measures in place. Penetration tests use the same process and technologies of attack as actual malicious agents, but with your permission, allowing you to find vulnerabilities and celebrate security.
What's Different About BreachRisk's Penetration Testing?
The BreachRisk™ for Business service offers a continuous penetration testing service, backed by artificial intelligence to help you understand your security as it develops, rather than just once a year. In addition to penetration testing service, you'll gain access to the full BreachRisk™ suite of tools and get detailed information about your cyber risks and what your infrastructure looks like, including your BreachRisk™ Score and BreachRisk™ Report.
Our continuous penetration testing services provide extensive and comprehensive testing of your infrastructure at your discretion. Get powerful penetration testing made from the hacker's perspective. When you enable penetration testing you'll get credit for the security measures you have in place, over time this can help to lower your scores as you prove that possible threats aren't viable threats.
Feature can be enabled or disabled whenever you like. When you share your score, others will know if you have enabled this service. You'll find the results of testing in your Technical Page with individual results for threats available in your Threat Vectors Detail table.
Certain customers will be able to access on demand and printable penetration testing reports, from executive summary reports to fully detailed ones when this new feature becomes available in 2023. Until then, you can request access to pdf reports by emailing us at support@breachbits.com.
