How do I invite a Portfolio Entity to create a BreachRisk™ account?

If you are a BreachRisk™ Portfolio user, you will occasionally want to invite users from the companies in your portfolio to create an account. This allows them to see BreachRisk results and share BreachRisk Report data with you.

Each organization you monitor from your BreachRisk™ Portfolio account is called an entity. If you need to invite a person from that entity to see their BreachRisk™ Score or allow them to see details, they will need to create an account. This ensures that data is kept secure and private according to the consent of the entity organization.

When they create an account, they will also be able to start a trial, enable penetration testing and social engineering, and manage their subscription.

How to Invite the entity to create a BreachRisk™ account and create a user

  1. Navigate to the Manage Portfolio page (https://my.breachrisk.co/board/BreachRisk/Portfolio/Manage)
  2. Ensure the entity is in your list of companies. If they are not, use the Add button to add them to your portfolio.
  3. Select the invitation button adjacent to the target.
  4. Provide the first and last name and the official company email address for a point of contact at the target company that has the knowledge and authority necessary to verify and attest to BreachBits regarding the full scope of cyberspace and to provide consent to conduct penetration testing (and optionally Social Engineering). Select Submit.
  5. A system invitation from BreachBits® is automatically sent to the POC you selected within 10 minutes, providing them a unique link to register a BreachRisk account.
  6. If that user needs to add more users, they can visit the Manage Subscription page.
  7. Once they create an account, they will have a sharing invitation from you in their Data Sharing page, and they can approve the request. This will give you access to their BreachRisk™ Report.
